Eliminating sources that are not helpful is as important as collecting resources.

You only have so much time, so what you are reading should help you OR be a new discovery.  If you are spending too much time just trying to read Tweets, posts + email - start deleting! 


Pro Tips
  • Google Alerts - if the alerts do not help you with a topic or send you a new discovery
    • change the key words or add a key search word to make the results less general
    • Twitter - info in the tweets is not helpful, repetitive or too general unfollow the person tweeting
  • Google Plus - too many posts or not meaningful information - remove the person from your circle
  • Newsletters - repeat topics or too much advertizing - unsubscribe
